Let me first say that I am not a lawyer or a CPA. The points that follow are gathered from reliable past practices as well as my understanding from folks who do know better. As always, check with your own people if you’d like definitive advice that applies to you (it’ll probably cost you, though).

Time for answers to a couple more questions from readers. This time, the questions deal with older Scouts and patrol organization, and what to do about cell phones at summer camp.
One of my favorite magazines, The New Yorker, has a recurring column titled Notes from All Over, a collection of miscellany that are interesting in and of themselves but don’t merit an entire article.
